Asian Cup: Indonesia-Bahrain: 2-1

Ini kandang kita means this is our turf was a national slogan to support the Indonesian team
My colleagues and I got the VIP tickets from ING Bank to watch the match between Indonesia and Bahrain at the Asiap Cup 2007. It was a really fine experience to be able to watch the match in the VIP seats. It was also actually my first experience in watching football game. My nationality proud suddenly raised up as I saw the crowds with their red and white t-shirts. Seeing a huge Indonesian flag was really a touching moment for all of us. The crowd kept singing and singing during the game.
Men say that the Indonesian supporters are the most dynamics among all football supporters in the world. Why? because Indonesian people dont have a job so they have enoug energy to support the team with their songs and dancing thorughout the match. I dont know if its a joke or for real hehehehehe.
Indonesia won with 2-1.
But I guess I am not a good photographer. I missed to take the goals pictures as I was very much excited when the goals were made.
It was a really good game. Both teams were giving their best efforts.
I enjoyed my first experience watching a live football game.
Thanks to Pak Irwan Habsjah, Mr. Rob Scholten, and also to Mbak Harlen from ING Bank Indonesia.
note: a must see is the gigantic poster to support the Indonesian team near the Gelora Bung Karno complex.
(Indonesia is one of the four host cities for this year's AFC Asian Cup. Launched on 19 June, the culturally themed campaign of ‘Ini Kandang Kita!' or ‘This is our turf' aims to drive national pride and boost support amongst the Indonesian football fans for their national team.
The logo, featuring a nationalistic Garuda symbol and the campaign slogan, will be stamped on walls and streets, acting as territorial markers to attract youths' attention and heighten patriotism amongst football fans. A series of outdoor visuals, which were drawn from a traditional Indonesian folklore called the Legend of Bharatayudha, have also been launched and features Indonesian football players Ponaryo Astaman, Bambang Pamungkas and Elie Aiboy.)(www.marketing-interactive.com)
