'Dont they know it's Friday?'

There is not much left to tell in Jeddah. Other than that my plane was delayed for 11 hours!

The last time I had this was in 2003, in the Netherlands. We were being sent to a hotel nearby Schiphol, stayed there for one night and we even got some cash from KLM hehehe. 300 euro. I didnt mind then to have another delayed hehehe.

Anyway, Nordin felt sorry for us so he drove us around Jeddah. He showed us the old district of Jeddah and told us some interesting stories about Saudi and its people.

The Arabics go home in the afternoon around 1 o'clock and then they come back to the office around 4 o'clock and work until 8 pm.
They are free on Thursday and Friday. In Saturday and Sunday they go to work.

There is one book titled " Don't they know it's Friday" . Sort of a guide book for people who want to have business in Middle East countries or to do business with Middle east people.

Women can't eat in a restaurant. Well they can if the restaurant has a 'family section' and there are not many restaurants with that facility. Women don't drive.
