Jogja: kembali ke kotamu

... I still haven't decided yet whether to continue the journey or not......
We'll see.......I will just follow my heart and listen when it speaks to you."

This is all started after the Sumatra overland trip…..Cilvy told me that she and some other friends are going to climb mount merapi as part of preparations for mount rinjani climbing in May. I was not ready for mountain climbing yet, not in a rainy season and not ready for high mountains.

Jainer kept asking me to do the mountain climbing…..I just don’t have guts up to now *_*. There are two conditions for mountain climbing. 1. Yes if Jainer is in the group….and promise that he will look after me during the climbing hahaha and 2. Mount Papandayan or Gede will be my first mountain. If I survive one of those mountains….then I will put mountain climbing in my holiday activities list.

Anyway I said ok for going together to Jogja….and some day Cilvy told me that they will be taking the economy class train hahaha it was definitely something new for me. A little bit scary but definitely challenging.

I am still wondering why do people who love to climb mountain always use the cheapest transportation to reach the destination. I don’t know why.

Dian, Atoen, anita and Tonton and me agreed to join them in the economy class train. And Irev, Ms. Hygienic, decided to take the bus hahahahaha. Irev irev……..no one can beat her with hygienist issue.

The nightmare happened. The economy class train was horrible hot…steamy….sweaty…..crowded…could not go to the toilet because there were just too many people sitting on the floor….

All we could do that night was laughing, made jokes…..On those horrible hours, it would not help at all if you complained….and there was some moments when Dian and I thought of Irev. What would she do if she was there and we mimicked her angry face in that situation hahahahah.

On the journey, I noticed that the telecommunication has improved a lot. Some years ago there were no mobile signals in some cities along the journey to Central Java. Now there were hardly any blank spot.

We had great time in Jogja: breakfast in widjilan (gudeg Yu Djum), had Gado gado Bu hadi as breakfast at beringhardjo market, batik shopping at Mirota batik and Beringhardjo market, late dinner at Sate Klatak Pak Jono at Pasar Jejeran, Imogiri, went to Prambanan temple, visited the Chinese festival cap go meh at Malioboro.
